training course &#8211; Second edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Target audience<\/strong>: the course is for <strong>health care personnel<\/strong> and <strong>helping relationship professionals<\/strong> only<\/p>\n<p><strong>Modality: <\/strong>The mixed-mode course<strong>(10 recorded FAD modules<\/strong> and <strong>3 live online final modules<\/strong>) runs from<strong> March 13, 2026 to October 9, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration<\/strong>: <strong>50 hours divided between:<\/strong> <strong><em>video lectures<\/em><\/strong> (26 hours), <em><strong>self-study<\/strong><\/em> (10 hours), <strong><em>live case discussion and supervision<\/em><\/strong> (14 hours) on the dates: <strong>Sept. 11, Sept. 18, Oct. 9 from 3 to 7 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Course Objectives.<\/h2>\n<p>The course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Welcome and support<\/strong> families affected by perinatal loss with expertise and sensitivity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Promote respectful accompaniment<\/strong>, recognizing individual needs in the bereavement journey.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Integrate the most up-to-date knowledge<\/strong> in the fields of psychology and psychotraumatology, obstetrics, and nursing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spreading better awareness<\/strong> <strong>and culture<\/strong> of perinatal bereavement in health and social care settings<\/li>\n<li><strong>Networking in an integrated and multidisciplinary perspective with the various professional figures, <\/strong>who accompany women and couples in the process of grieving and new parenting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Course topics<\/h2>\n<p><strong>First module &#8211; <\/strong>Supporting women, couples, and families with perinatal bereavement experience: presentation and framing of the salutogenic and trauma-oriented model<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second module<\/strong> &#8211; Infertility<\/p>\n<p><strong>Third module<\/strong> &#8211; Miscarriage<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fourth module<\/strong> &#8211; The termination of pregnancy due to pathology<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fifth module<\/strong> &#8211; Death in utero<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sixth module<\/strong> &#8211; Postnatal death<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seventh module &#8211;<\/strong> Bereavement in the perinatal time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eighth module<\/strong> &#8211; Psychotraumatology of perinatal bereavement<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ninth module<\/strong> &#8211; Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of complicated bereavement<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tenth module<\/strong> &#8211; Expectant again: pregnancy and parenting after perinatal bereavement<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eleventh module (live) <\/strong>&#8211; analysis and conceptualization of clinical cases brought by our lecturers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Twelfth module (live) <\/strong>&#8211; analysis and conceptualization of clinical cases brought by the trainees<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thirteenth module (live) &#8211; <\/strong>presentation of final work in small groups.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Scientific Direction<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Dr. Claudia Ravaldi<\/strong>, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, PhD in neuroscience, master&#8217;s degree in history and techniques of children&#8217;s literature, CiaoLapo Foundation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Professor Alfredo Vannacci<\/strong>, medical pharmacologist and toxicologist, University of Florence, CiaoLapo Foundation<\/p>\n<h2>Lecturers<\/h2>\n<p>Course instructors are <strong>professional<\/strong> men <strong>and women specializing<\/strong> in gynecology, obstetrics, psychiatry, psychotherapy, and counseling in the helping relationship <strong>with many years of certified experience on perinatal bereavement,<\/strong> both from a research perspective and from the perspective of clinical and field support.<\/p>\n<h2>Enrollment and costs<\/h2>\n<p>Course registration includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>13 teaching modules on Moodle platform (10 recorded, 3 live)<\/li>\n<li>access to registrations from March 13 to October 31, 2026<\/li>\n<li>teaching materials<\/li>\n<li>Two hours of mentoring (during the period between Sept. 21 and Oct. 2) for the writing of the final clinical case<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Completion of the course also enables:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access the 30 hours of supervision required for enrollment in the CiaoLapo Foundation&#8217;s Perinatal Loss Assistant ( <strong>PERLA) registry<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Early Bird: the cost for registration is 400 euros until January 31, 2026<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>From February 1, 2026<\/strong>, the registration fee will be <strong>500 euros<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PLEASE <strong>NOTE<\/strong>: <strong>80 places<\/strong> are available: applications, complete in all their parts, <strong>will be accepted in order of arrival.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No CME credits are provided<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Enrollment deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Registration will be closed upon completion of 80 places, and in any case no later than <strong>June 1, 2026<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sign up for <a href=\"https:\/\/ciaolapo.3dcartstores.com\/product.asp?itemid=356\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>The <em>PerLA<\/em> Registry &#8211;
